For our bows we like to use McGinley Satin 100% acetate ribbon that is 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide. To make a bow for a shirt or sweater box, make a loop of ribbon about 4 to 5 inches in diameter.  Place a piece of tape on the ribbon to secure the loop.

( Adjust the size of the loop for larger or smaller size packages.)

Continue to loop the ribbon 9 to 10 times.

Cut the ribbon leaving a 2 inch tail.
